Cat out ... Mice in ...
As soon as the cat is out of the house, the mice go snooping everywhere, climbing on to the table, prowling around the cups and glasses...
The game ‘Cat out ... Mice in ...' is an educational game with cards, intended to develop an understanding of the arrangement of objects within a space.
Children turn over cards, see where the mouse is, and then try to show correctly the exact place, by using words such as ‘behind', ‘in front of', ‘under', ‘over' and ‘on', as well as spatial concepts such as ‘inside', ‘outside', ‘on the left' and ‘on the right'. The children develop their logical thinking, exercise their powers of observation, and expand their vocabulary.
